About Hearts & Hands Painting
Hearts & Hands Painting is a family-owned Northern Kentucky painting company. My wife Ashley and I started it in 2017, and we’re known for careful prep, honest communication and taking care of your home.
Family-Owned Since 2017
I’m Jon, the owner of Hearts & Hands Painting. My wife Ashley and I spent years in the trade before we started this company, learning from a generation of craftsmen who were among the best of their time. Between the two of us, we have about 30 years of painting experience. Along the way, we saw what made customers happy and what frustrated them. So when we started Hearts & Hands in 2017, we kept it simple: show up when we say we will, take care of your home, never cut corners on prep, and always aim to exceed our clients’ expectations.
When we started painting and refinishing cabinets, we tried every cabinet coating we could get our hands on before we settled on the ones we use now. We did the same with our materials and equipment. So when I say we use the best products, it’s because we tested them on real jobs, not because a sales rep told us to.
Today I’m on every project, along with a crew of expert tradespeople I trust. Cabinets are the exception. Ashley and I still paint every set of cabinets ourselves. Our goal hasn’t changed since day one: do work our Northern Kentucky neighbors are proud to show off.
Our Approach
Every project starts with the details most people never see: protecting floors, furniture, and landscaping, setting clear expectations for the scope of work, and preparing surfaces properly before any paint or coating goes on.
We believe good painting is mostly good preparation. Walls are patched and sanded, surfaces are cleaned and primed where needed, and trim and cabinetry are prepped with the same care as the finish coats themselves.
Communication You Can Count On
Before we start, we walk you through exactly what’s included, so there are no surprises. While we work, we keep you posted on progress and timing, and we treat your home like our own.
When the job is done, we clean up and walk through the finished work with you.
